Honoring the Life and Legacy of Coralie Franklin Cook

Join us on Tuesday, May 12th for an inspiring evening with historian and author Leonard (“Lex”) Musta, as he shares the remarkable story of Coralie Franklin Cook – educator, suffragist, and one of the most distinguished early African Descent American Bahá’ís.

Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7:00 p.m.

Currently writing Cook’s biography, Lex will explore her legacy of principled leadership and service, screen a short clip from a documentary honoring early Washington, D.C. Bahá’ís, and share how friends can participate in efforts to restore her gravesite. Copies of his book, This Noble Destiny, will also be available.

We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful evening of history, remembrance, and community.
